This is the one she will receive.  I got the pattern from an antique magazine (circa 1942 - I can't remember from which magazine).   I have made this one several times.  It's one of my favorite patterns.  It's suppose to be for a dinning set or 4 pieces and this is the 2nd size.

I used Miquita, which is a Peruvian thread close to a size #30.  I love this thread because is like the crochet thread but softer like the cotton perle.
