Let continue with Wally’s Alphabet. This time is the letter “Dâ€�. Kinda difficult to get 10 words with this letter... I don’t know why but it took me more than 2 hours to come with this list. But here are them.

1. Diet: yep. This is the 1st word I can think of with D. I have been dieting all my life. Really! Since I was a girl I have been in an “Asthmatic dietâ€�, later, in my teens, I had to go under a very strict diet for my GUR and esophageal ulcers. Then was the beginning of the weight loss diets, from which my fav was when I was taking Phen-Phen and Redux. Boy, if I loose weight!!! But you know what happened with those medicines. After awhile my Lupus flared and I had coagulation problems and I have been put in a “Coumadin dietâ€�. Still struggling with weight loss diets... I guess this is really the perfect word to start this list. LOL
2. Drawing: I love to draw. I don’t concider myself an artist but I enjoy doing my little doodles. My favorite artist is M. C. Escher, the one that draws those fantastic images morphing. But my favorite artist form all time is my dad! LOL He really is a nice painter.
3. Disney: Oh yes! There is no place on Earth more magical and fantastic than Disney World and all thanks to a man with a big imagination: Walt Disney. Who knew that a small mouse was going to revolutionize the history of entertainment! I have been on Disney World, Fla like 6-7 times and I’m not tire of it. I wish I could go to Disneyland and even visit the international parks!
4. Desert Rose: There are several songs that start with D that I like but I think the most for me is “Desert Roseâ€� with Sting and Cheb Mami. Love it from the 1st day I hear it and still do now. Cheb Mami is not known in the States but he is a very good Algerian singer of the “raiâ€� musical style. Other “Dâ€� songs I like are “Don’t you forget about meâ€� by Simple Mind, “Don’t be cruelâ€� by Elvis, “Down so longâ€� by Jewel, “Dos enamoradosâ€� by RBD (Mexican teen group), “Down with the sickenessâ€� by Disturbed and “Drift Awayâ€� (there are several versions but I live Uncle Kracker and Michael Bolton). A big mix from classic Rock to Punk, passing thru “Bubble Gumâ€� Pop. LOL
5. Danny Rivera: I was going to add a song in the “Dâ€� from Danny Rivera called “Dos Amantesâ€�, but hey! I can add him in the “Dâ€�. Danny Rivera is a Puerto Rican singer. His songs are romantic and somehow patriotic. He’s known for his “idealistâ€� of independence for Puerto Rico and also for his spiritual believes. I think he has an amazing voice!
6. Dr. Phil: (VBG) I’m just a junkie of his program! LOL Can’t say much more... Well, I think he has very interesting way of expressing and assessing some problems. I don’t like the “trashyâ€� programs about marriage and family by other programs but Dr. Phil gives some good advise and I have even put some of those advice in practice with my marriage.
7. Dune: This is my favorite book, from Frank Hebert. I think I saw the 1st movie when I was in my early teens and later in 1985 my grandma bought a Spanish version of the book for my 15th birthday. I was so enthral by the book. I have read it in Spanish and English like a dozen of times and seen the movies several times more. I like the version that Sci-Fi channel did because has more of the book than the 1st movie. The book is a very complex one to be resumed in a 2-hr movie. But I like it anyway because there’s a yummie and young Sting and also Jose Ferrer (the Emperor) is in the movie. Jose Ferrer was a great Puerto Rican actor who won an Oscar for the movie “Cirano de Bergeracâ€� in the 1940's. Anyway... The Dune series I think is a must for any Sci-Fi reader. Also there is a perfume from Christian Dior called “Duneâ€� that I really like!
8. Digital Photography: I love my digi-cam. It’s not a professional camera (it’s a Kodak 310) but I like it anyway and ALWAYS carry it with me. You never know when you’ll see something weird or even a celebrity. LOL I would like to take some photography courses but for now I think my candid shots do the trick, specially for the blogs.
9. Dragon Quest: This is a video game (RPG) I’m completing now and I’m super hooked on it. Geesh! I have been playing it for over 100 hours and still haven’t finish it. It has cute characters and a nice story too. Actually I’m playing the 8th game: The Return of the Cursed King. This is the 1st time I play this game. May be will try to get the other 7 games if they’re available for the PS 2.
10. Dreams: I like to dream. Who don’t?! Dreams for me have most of the time mean something. I have had some experience with dreams coming real. Some of my dreams (personal goals) also have become true recently so I had to make a new list of dreams. LOL So go, dream on!
