This is a crochet doily I have been working all day. It's made with an burn orange thread called Melanie, a Brazilian thread. I like to work with it. It's soft and comes in a lot of colors. Pretty economic too. I easily find it in Puerto Rico. This was one of the ones that mom sent me. There's is enough for a smaller doily. May be I can repeat it until the 1st "solid" round. I don't have a measuring tape but I think it's around 12 inches diameter. The pattern is from a French magazine called "1000 Mailles Crochet Decorations".
