Materials:
Thread #10 White
Thread DMC Cotton Perle #8 Color 608
Crochet hook 1.75 mm
Tatting Shuttle
Glass Seed Beads Orange
Pin
Fabric Glue
Stiffner (optional)


Instructions:

Starting with the Crochet:


With the #10 thread and the crochet hook, start 2 ch.


Make 7 sc in the 2nd ch from hook. Join.


Make 2 sc in each sc around. Join. (14 sc)


Make 1 sc, 2 sc in next stitch around. Join. (21 sc)


Make 5 ch, 1 dc in same stitch; make (1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc ) in the next 3 sc. Turn.


Make 5 ch, 1 dc in the 2-ch space, make (1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc) in each 2-ch space and between the "V" stitch. Turn.


Make 5 ch, 1 dc in the 2-ch space, *make 1 dc betwen the "V" stitch, make (1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc) in th next 2-ch space*, repeat from * to * around. Fasten off.


Tatted Skirt:


Using CTM:


First Row:


R: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, join to the 3rd 2-ch space of the crocheted angel, 3 ds, P, 3ds. CL. RW.


*CH: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, P, 3 ds. RW.


R: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, join to the next dc, 3 ds, P, 3 ds. CL. RW.


CH: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, P, 3 ds. RW.


R: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, join to the next 2-ch space of the crocheted angel, 3 ds, P, 3ds. CL. RW.*


Repeat from * to * until you have 5 rings and 4 chains. Fasten off.


Second Row:


R: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, join to the 1st picot of the previous tatted row, 3 ds, P, 3ds. CL. RW.


CH: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, P, 3 ds, P, 3 ds. RW.


R: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, join to the 2nd picot of the previous tatted row, 3 ds, P, 3ds. CL. RW.


CH: 3 ds, P, 3 ds, P, 3 ds, P, 3 ds. RW.


Repeat aound until you have 8 rings and 7 chains in total. Fasten off.


Tatted Halo:


Insert 5 beads in the thread of the shuttle. Make 10 ds, 5 beaded picots separated by 2 ds, 10 ds. CL. Fasten off.


Glue the halo to the back of the head. Stiff if wanted. If stiffed, wait until is very dry and then glue the pin to the back of the angel.


I made this angel in this colors 'because those are the colors of the American Lupus Organization. Each Angel is a guardian for each Lupus Patient!
