Not bad, eh? Only 2 hours to whip this one. I guess I haven't forget how to make crochet Bruges. The original Bruges lace is made in bobbin lace but this crochet imitation is famous and pretty none the less. I still have thread for a second one. Geesh! These threads don't want to finish! lol

Now I'll take a rest and cook something to eat. I'm famish!

I love it! I have kind of gotten away from Crochet, but I do the Bruges in bobbin lace. Yours takes a lot less time to do that's for sure. I have to admit that by looking at it, I can't figure out how you did it. Nice job!

VERY VERY pretty!!! I too LOVE IT!!! I don't know, I think I am going to have to look through my patterns and see if I have this pattern or something close to it somewhere!!!!! Ya got me interested now!!!! Is it available on the net? I did print off the 'Mantilla' pattern,,just beautiful!
I am a pretty fast crocheter, but I don't think I can crochet quite as fast you did to do this one!

Very nice indeed. I am almost finished the blanket though have to undo 2 rows due to a mistake. That will teach me for crocheting in bed when i should be sleeping. I have a couple of jug covers to make though not 100% sure about adding beads so looks like I need to do some learning.

I hate to "frog" when I make mistakes. I'll tell a secret... On the oval doily I finished today I made a mistake on the 1st round and I didn't noticed until I was on round 9!!! SOOOOOO I just made some "magic" and scrunched the correct number of stitches in the round so the rest of the pattern worked as suppose to. I WAS NOT going to rip all the doily!

My problem is that while crocheting or tatting I start singing. lol Often in English and Spanish and then I get carried away and loose the counting.
