Blog EntryLooking for dish soap dressesApr 19, '08 2:12 PM
for everyone

Mom asked me to make her some dish soap dresses.  I saw somewhere some fancy ones made with thread.  All that I have seen are made with yarn.  Does anyone knows where I can find the patterns?  I made a search but all that I find is yarn like the one on the photo and I'm not in the mood (nor have time) to modify the pattern from yarn to thread.  Any help?

Wally try Crochet World magazine I think I remember seeing patterns in there for soap dresses. I still have some of the magazines I'll look and see if I have patterns in the books I have for you

Do you want it to be in made in size #10 thread?

Yes #10 is much easier for me than yarn.

Wally, ESTE:

parece ser de hilo, no estambre...

This one:

is made of yarn, but take a look at it. It's just chains, double crochet in the chains, from the back make some more double crochets, chain a few for the sleeves, join after skipping a few stitches (do it on both sides), then start with shells.
