This statues represent Luis Muñoz Marin teaching some people. He is the one on the right. LMM was PR's first Puerto Rican governor. He was dedicated to the education of everyone in the island (constructing public schools in each town), work for everyone (establishing industrial forces) and in 1952 created with USA the commonwealth of PR. He died in the 80's and I remember his dead. It was an event that all PR cried for several days.
